Michael Katz, editor of the Declaration of Independents has this advice for those needing printed copies of the newsletter:
My suggestion for making hard copies is to save the file on a disc, bring it to a copy place (Staples is pretty cheap, cheaper than Kinko's), and ask them to print the 4 pages on 2 sides of a piece of paper 11 x 17. Then you can fold the pages in half and wind up with a nice 4-page booklet. The paper quality doesn't have to be especially great, it's the ink quality that matters.
Some people have decent quality computer printers, but feeding regular
sized paper through it and printing double-sided is guaranteed to gum up the works. |
